About Me
My name is Natalya Campbell, and I am a Pluralistic Counsellor/Psychotherapist offering therapy through my practice, Lifting the Clouds – Therapy with Natalya. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I work in line with the BACP’s Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions, which sets out standards for confidentiality, record-keeping, and professional conduct.
I use Google Meet for online therapy sessions.

What Information I Collect
In order to provide you with a safe and effective therapy service, I may collect and store the following personal information:
Contact Information – your name, email address, and phone number
Basic Personal Details – date of birth, address, and emergency contact (if needed)
Session Records – brief factual notes about the issues discussed in sessions, session dates/times
Communications – emails or texts related to appointments or therapy
Payment Records – basic information for invoicing and accounting purposes (no card or banking data is stored by me)
Online Session Metadata – video platforms like Google Meet may collect anonymised technical data such as IP address and browser type (I do not access or retain this data directly)
Why I Collect Your Data (Legal Basis)

Data Storage and Security
I take the security of your data seriously and follow appropriate procedures to protect it:
Digital Notes – securely stored on encrypted devices or platforms with password protection
Emails & Texts – deleted within a reasonable time unless needed for therapeutic continuity
Video Sessions – sessions are not recorded. Google Meet uses encrypted connections
I will never sell or share your data for marketing purposes.
How Long I Keep Your Data
Therapy Records – retained for up to 7 years after the end of our work together, in line with industry guidelines
Financial Records – kept for at least 6 years for accounting and tax purposes
After these timeframes, all data is securely destroyed or deleted
Confidentiality & When I Might Share Data
Everything discussed in therapy is confidential. However, there are exceptions where I may need to share information:
You request or consent for me to share information (e.g., with another healthcare provider)
Serious Risk – if I believe there is a significant risk of harm to you or someone else
Legal Requirements – in rare cases where I am legally obligated (e.g. court order, terrorism, safeguarding)
Professional Supervision – I regularly discuss my work with a supervisor to ensure ethical practice, but no identifiable personal information is shared

Request deletion of your data (where applicable)
